Alex was born in London but growing up playing in woods and parks gave her a deep love for outdoor spaces and nature, leading to a degree in Zoology, a gap year exploring Australia and New Zealand and an MSc in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation. Alex has had a varied career working for many non-profit organisations and charities, from managing partners at a global climate change disclosure platform in London to co-ordinating adventures for a small company in Bristol.
Passionate about connecting people to their environment, she moved to Pembrokeshire in the summer of 2019 to work as an outdoor guide and fell in love with the coast, so she joined the PCF team to work with local communities to help them adapt to the inevitable effects of climate change. Out of work, Alex can be found climbing the sea cliffs, jogging on muddy trails or treasure hunting in beach coves.
