Lauren is a life-long Pembrokeshire resident with a particular enthusiasm for heritage, culture and regeneration in the county. Experienced in small organisation project management, logistics, events, volunteer management and community engagement, Lauren has worked in local and national high-profile settings and businesses, community projects and non-profit charities.

Recent examples include implementing a community engagement strategy promoting changes to waste services and increasing recycling in areas of low engagement; overseeing administration of an ambitious arts and community development project, and running a volunteering initiative providing 16-24-year olds with mentoring and experience in the arts.

With a focus on innovative community development and adaptation, growth and regeneration, Lauren’s goal is to foster a thriving social and economic environment for Pembrokeshire residents and visitors alike by maximising the impact of unique local opportunities and sustainable development.

Lauren’s varied background includes additional experience in film and theatre costume, bilingual script writing and editing. She is a fluent Welsh speaker and moderate Spanish speaker with strong familial connections to Argentina. Out of work she can be found in or on the sea, along the coast path or volunteering on local arts and community projects.
